Welcome to NetSource ! This page is for customers that are part of the NetSource acquisition of Pugmarks. Here we address common questions that you may have. See below.
NetSource acquired Pugmarks. What does that mean? What changes should I expect?
First of all, we want to assure you that our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible for customers.
NetSource acquired essentially all the assets of the Pugmark’s hosting operation. This means that NetSource is your new provider for all the services you recently had with Pugmarks. Essentially, NetSource will be providing your service, all support for your services, and billing for those services starting on April 1, 2016. You will receive invoices from and pay NetSource for services beginning May 1, 2016. We are reconciling your April billing with Pugmarks to keep things as smooth as possible for you.
Our approach is to change as little as possible for the near term. The only thing we need to change immediately is the billing process. Everything else will stay the same for now. You will enter tickets the same way – https://support.pugmarks.net. If you need to call, call the phone number 630-579-1200 x2.
All your services and pricing will stay the same.
Finally, we are not keeping the Pugmarks name. We are retaining the support.pugmarks.net URL for support for now but not the pugmarks.com domain.
At anytime you have any questions, you can always contact NetSource at 866-778-1212 or send email to support@netsource.com during the transition.
How can I securely give NetSource my credit card to make payments?
Please click the link below to securely send your credit card information to the NetSource billing department.
Your credit card information will be held securely in encrypted form and will only be available to the billing department.
I am concerned that my service will go down. What is happening with my service?
NetSource plans to leave your service at it is for now. Nothing is changing there until you are fully involved. We are creating a plan to migrate the services to the NetSource data center eventually, but, you will be involved every step of the way. We will plan any move of services or servers during a maintenance window after we have fully planned and scheduled it with you.
NetSource has a number of experienced network and system administrators. And NetSource has a lot of experience with acquisitions and moving services in a way that minimizes any problems. We know that your involvement is critical.
Will my pricing change?
No.
Who do I pay for April billing?
Our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible for you. Many or all of you have already been billed by Pugmarks for April. If you have paid that bill, don’t worry, NetSource will account for that payment and you would not receive another bill from NetSource for the same timeframe. If you have not yet paid that bill from Pugmarks for April, then you have the choice to go ahead and pay that bill to Pugmarks or to pay NetSource. If you want to pay NetSource directly instead, contact us and let us know (866-778-1212, 630-778-1212) – ask for the billing department.
The next bill you receive will be from NetSource for the end of April or May services. You should receive no further bills from Pugmarks, unless you have a past due amount with them. You can expect the billing from NetSource around the middle of each month for the upcoming month’s services.
Why is my May amount different from my last bill?
NetSource bills all customers based on a calendar month. Pugmarks billed based on your service start date. Therefore, NetSource needs to prorate the billing so that it aligns on a calendar month. Then, all future billing, for June and thereafter, will match your normal bill.
If I receive a bill from NetSource, how do I pay it?
You will receive an email from NetSource in the next few days explaining the four methods of payment. You will have a choice of one of these four methods, including check, recurring credit card payment, online by credit card, or ACH payment. But, we will explain this is more detail in a coming email in April.
UPDATE: Here is the text from the email regarding billing promised above.

First Billing from NetSource – 04/12/2016
All of you should have seen the recent announcement of the NetSource acquisition of the Pugmarks hosting business. If not, view that announcement here; https://www.netsource.com/acquisition. Now, we are getting ready to send out the May billing and wanted to give you more information about what to expect.
You should be receiving your next invoice this week.
Going forward, we will send out invoices on 12th of each month and will be due on 1st of next month. For example, invoice going out on May 12th, will be for services for the month of June and will be due on June 1st.
In case your Pugmarks invoices are not based on a calendar month, your first invoice from NetSource will be prorated and will cover the service period up to May 31, 2016.
The bill will look different as we have less details on our bills but we have referenced your last invoice # so you can compare the pricing. Also, our service names are different but you can rest assured, there will not be any change in your current services or prices.
There are several ways you can pay your bill.
– Online via Credit Card: Just follow the link provided with your invoicing email.
– Online ACH: You can set up direct payments from your banks account to NetSource.
– Paypal: Send your payments to billing@netsource.com and reference your invoice number.
– Phone: Call NetSource at 866-778-1212 and ask for Mary to provide your credit card details for monthly recurring payments.
NetSource follows strict PCI compliance rules and takes utmost care to ensure security of your credit card information.
If you have any active Paypal subscriptions for your Pugmarks services, we request you to cancel those. Your recurring credit card payments you have with Pugmarks will automatically stop.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our billing department and ask for Mary.
We look forward to a long and successful relationship with you and your company.
Sincerely,
Pat Vanderford

Who do I call if I have a billing or customer service question?
For a billing question, call NetSource at 866-778-1212 or locally 630-778-1212 and ask for the billing department.
For a customer service question, use the same method you use now. However, feel free to contact NetSource at 866-778-1212 at anytime.
I have recurring credit card payments setup to go directly to Pugmarks. What should I do?
Immediately stop those recurring payments. If a recurring payment is sent to Pugmarks for April or later, then we will have no record of that payment and you will not receive credit for it. Contact NetSource to help resolve this.
Nothing is changing except the billing process. What is the new billing process?
Here are some things you should know about the NetSource billing process. There are four methods of payment available that we will describe in more detail shortly. Our terms are normally net15 but, with an appropriate credit rating and contract agreement, we can support other terms. The bills usually come around the middle of each month and the billing includes a full calendar month – we will transition all customers to our calendar month cycle. NetSource bills in advance for services and you may have the option to pay quarterly or yearly.
Can I pay online?
Yes, there are multiple ways to pay on-line. But, to keep things simple for now, just click the link below to provide your credit card data.
How do I request a change in services?
Use the same contact method you are using now. However, you can always contact the NetSource main number at 866-778-1212.
What if I have past due amounts with Pugmarks? How do I pay past due amounts?
You will send past due payments directly to Pugmarks using the same systems that you did before to pay Pugmarks. However, you may also contact NetSource for help with past due amounts at 866-778-1212.
UPDATE: Note, we are keeping the Pugmarks’ billing process through Ubersmith active until June 30, 2016, to facilitate the process for customers to pay past due bills to Pugmarks directly. After that, you will need to make other arrangements to pay any past due bills.
What is happening at the Pugmarks data center?
NetSource expects to migrate services into the NetSource data center over time. Our goal is to make this data center transition as smooth as possible for customers. You will know before anything changes there.
Note, that the NetSource data center is world class and conforms to several standards (SSAE16, SOC1, SOC2, HIPAA, PCI, ANSI 942, etc.) The NetSource data center is third party audited each year for compliance with SSAE16, SOC1, and SOC2.
As we hear from you about the acquisition, we will keep this page updated with new information.
