NetSource Communications, a leading Chicago and Western Suburbs data center, announced an expansion of both floorspace and rack space in our Naperville, IL based data center The expansion plans will be rolled out in two separate phases and address current and future space needs. NetSource sees continued growth in 2011 and is on target to have additional space and power ready as soon as existing and future hosting clients require it. According to Craig Neidel, a NetSource employee of 13 years, “NetSource never stops our growth planning because we understand how important growth options are to our clients success.” NetSource currently has space available but current growth patterns have prompted the expansion plan.
The first phase of the data center build-out-plan will address immediate needs for additional space at our Naperville, IL data center location. NetSource will be adding a final row to our existing “Datacenter-A” room to complete this area. This will include additional APC power equipment to bring in more power to the room. Soon after that row is completed NetSource will begin the build out of another 3,000 SF of data center space capable of 100+ additional (42U) racks. NetSource already owns the new space adjacent to the current data center, and will be working with local Chicago based companies on this build out to give back to the Chicago area economy.
